Facepunch has introduced the first new biome since the debut of procedural world generation:

🌴 Jungle!

This lush new biome occupies part of the temperate coastal (Tier 0) area, where fresh players spawn. Compared to other regions, the jungle features flatter terrain, denser rivers, and a thick, vibrant canopy of foliage.

Step into a world teeming with entirely new plant life:
You’ll find exotic bushes like bromeliads and monstera, undergrowth such as arrowroot and calathea, and a range of new trees including trumpet trees, jungle palms, and sandbox trees. Towering above them all are the colossal kapok trees, which you can climb and swing from.

But beware—this biome is far denser than others. With limited visibility, predators and dangers could be lurking anywhere... or, if you’re clever, it might be the perfect place to stalk your prey.

Despite its wild nature, the jungle supports full base building, just like other biomes. So venture in, explore the unknown, and unleash your inner Tarzan.
